How is it the end of June already? I feel like I was only just writing my May Favourites! I have a bit of a mix of favourites this month… let’s hop right in!

I said in my Everyday Make Up & Routine post that I’d recently purchased the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser* to try it out and I am loving it! I feel like it has really helped my skin recover and you don’t need to use much as a little of this product goes a long way. I’m applying it with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush* which does a great job at evening it out across my face. I dab the moisturiser on my forehead, chin and each cheek and then spread it out with the brush.
As it has been so hot recently (not hot today- where have you gone summer??) I have been using the NARS Light enhancing Pro Primer* which I can’t seem to find in stock online which is very worrying as I am running low and in need of some more myself… I have a few primers but I like this one as it is a cream texture and feels like a moisturiser on the skin. Others I have in my make-up stash are watery and can leave my skin feeling a bit tight.
As the sun came out I had to get my legs out so I have been using the Garnier Summer Body Gradual Tan Moisturiser* I have been using this for years and I really like it. I apply it with a mitt and I do a thin layer every evening and sleep with it on. It isn’t too sticky if you want to put it on in the morning but I prefer to just use a regular moisturiser in the day time. I buy the deep sunkissed one. Naturally I have very fair skin and this doesn’t make me too orange or too tanned.
I have seen a lot of bloggers and Youtubers promote the new Batiste Vanilla and Passion Flower 2-in-1 Spray* so I thought I would give it a go. I have naturally dry ends and greasy roots and as this has a conditioning element (as well as the dry shampoo) I have only been using this on the lengths of my hair. I like to use it on second day hair for a refresh. To be honest I really like the smell and it makes my hair smell just washed, but I’m not sure whether I’ll repurchase. I’ve been enjoying it this month all the same!
As I said my skin has been a bit up and down recently so I have been trying to take more care than usual. I have been using the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate* every evening to put some much needed moisture back in to my skin. Can’t rate this product highly enough, I’ve been using some of the Kiel’s products for a while and I really rate them. The oils also last ages!
I picked up the Original Source Green Banana & Bamboo Milk Shower gel* in June and I loved it so much I had to buy a new bottle yesterday! I can’t say that it smells like green bananas but it smells like a fresh banana milkshake. If you like fruity and fresh scents in the shower then this one isn’t for you, but if you like creamy, vanilla type shower gels then you might also like this!
I have never been in to podcasts but when Lily Pebbles and The Anna Edit started their own podcast called ‘At Home With’ I had to give it a go. I have to say I am loving them, their guests are really on point and I have thoroughly enjoyed each one. I also love hearing about people’s houses being a bit of a home and interiors junkie. They are also a good length for my commute and I like to listen to them on the way home. You can catch new ones on a Wednesday, but have a listen to the previous ones. My favourite has been Liz Earle!
Favourite song this month, just to go with the summery vibes- Feels by Calvin Harris. This has to be the sound of the summer!
