Welcome to my latest JR Reviews post which features some Origins products that I picked up on my recent weekend away in Bath!
I purchased these products with my own money and have not been paid to write this post. Links marked with an asterix are affiliate links. They indicate that the author receives a small share of sales through the related link at no cost to you.
The two products I picked up were the Origins Drink Up™ Intensive Overnight Mask* and the Origins GinZing™ Energy Boosting SPF 40 Tinted Moisturiser*, so here’s what I thought now I’ve been using them for a few weeks! I also got a freebie size Origins Out of Trouble® 10 Minute Mask To Rescue Problem Skin* which I have also used and liked but as I only used it once I haven’t given it a proper review!
I have used this quite a lot actually. My skin is going through a really horrible stage and I just don’t know what to do with it. It is suggested that you use the Origins Drink Up™ Intensive Overnight Mask* once a week but I think I have been using it more like twice a week. Not only have I used it over night as directed, I have also used it in the day if I’m just having a ‘home day’ and want to get some extra moisture in to my skin. I have dry skin and this has been lovely. I use it as part of my skincare routine and with my The Ordinary products right at the end of my regime.
What I really like about this product is that it sinks in to the skin really nicely so you’re not left with a sticky face to go to bed which ends up all over the bed sheets! The smell is also divine! When I’ve used this product my skin feels more refreshed afterwards!
I was intrigued by the Origins GinZing™ Energy Boosting SPF 40 Tinted Moisturiser*, and I’ve seen a lot of bloggers rave about this product. I really like this product- it has a nice finish and gives a good colour and when I get it right I really enjoy it! The downside of this is that it is colour changing- it comes out white and changes on your skin. This is fun but it does make it a bit difficult to gauge how much product you need and where you’ve applied it. I would recommend using a lot of natural light when you use this product and a bit of practice! Once you get the hang of it though it is really nice. Time will tell whether it over takes my fave NARS tinted moisturiser* as a permanent in my everyday make up routine!
If you liked this post I would love it if you would give it a like and a share and please comment down below whether you’ve tried out any of Origins products!
